Establishing natural immunity in dogs is simple, easy to understand, basic commonsense and very economical, not just financially, but emotionally, too.

Where did the idea come from that you could get immunity from the point of a needle? Why do people embrace this belief so enthusiastically?

Where The System Changed For The Worse

The second world war was perhaps the catalyst for many changes in the world. Certainly it was in the medical world and the pet food industry.

Prior to this period, dogs were typically fed the table scraps from family meals. In this time, there was no fast food, no junk food. People ate healthier food. Many grew their own food. Agriculture was not the chemical factory farms they are today. Small farms abounded, with farmers caring about their land, their animals welfare.

Many people bought direct from farmers. There were no big chain supermarkets. There were smaller shops specialising in fresh produce or groceries. The shop keepers cared about their customers and what they wanted.

And the dogs fared well. The diet may not have been perfect for them, but the food was good quality and nutritious. Much better quality, much higher nutritional value than in the dog junk food (aka commercial dog food) of today.

And when you listen to the veterinarians who practised in that period, dogs were living longer lives and they weren’t getting the serious, chronic diseases of today. Clearly, their natural immunity was working well for them.

With the population expanding, with new technology, with more money coming into each household, things began to change. The veterinary industry started to expand exponentially. It faithfully followed the medical ideas.

The medical idea has never been about the restoration of health. That doesn’t make any money for the corporations. The medical idea has always been to manage disease so that they have repeat customers, preferably for life.

One has to appreciate that as the medical system became freely available in many countries, the drug companies became ever more powerful. Today, they dictate not just what doctors do, but also what governments do. Their relentless advertising may hold empty promises, but the endless repetition has people easily fooled. Even thinking people start to doubt themselves.

Natural immunity in dogs, as for everyone, was not going to make anyone rich, so it had to be renegated to the ‘bad old days’, ridiculed, mocked. People needed to be shamed into believing the new way was ‘progressive’, ‘scientific’. For the most part, these are empty words, but they sound impressive. They hooked people in, literally hook, line and sinker.

How To Restore Natural Immunity In Dogs

Natural immunity is a birth right, if you will. Everyone is born with the ability to develop it when all goes according to the natural order:

  • vaginal birth
  • mother’s milk for the duration a naturally healthy mother allows it
  • good, species specific food
  • interest in life
  • good living conditions that reflect what is natural for the species (eg company, exercise, respect, shelter from the elements, etc)
  • quality time spent outside in the sun, on the earth
  • sympathetic training rather than the enforcements and anger typical in some common dog training schools

The problems occur when these natural orders are interfered with.

With an existing dog, there is nothing you can do about what went before, but one thing you can do is to start feeding your dog a species specific food. It’s amazing what health conditions disappear altogether just by this one small, but incredibly important action.

Using the holistic, and complete, medical system of homeopathy for any ails that are not restored by the right diet, or for conditions that often need extra help (a common one in dogs is a cruciate ligament injury), offers you exceptional health restoratives.

Natural immunity in dogs can be restored by these two amazingly powerful contributions. The diet is essential to maintain the immunity that good homeopathic treatment restores.
